Decision

Bob Proctor said:

“Decisions or the lack of them are responsible for the breaking or making of many a career. Individuals who have become very proficient at making decisions, without being influenced by the opinions of others, are the same people whose annual incomes fall into the six and seven figure category.”

Decision can be defined as a simple mental move that will create order, rather than conflict in your mind. If you develop your decision-making ability, the order created in your mind will translate to physical results.

People who fail to develop their ability to make decisions, are inviting disorder into their mind. Indecision sets up internal conflict.

Napoleon Hill said:

"Successful people make decisions quickly and firmly, while unsuccessful people make decisions slowly and change them often."

Hill noted that those who are unsuccessful, often take longer to decide and frequently second-guess or change their decisions, which can lead to missed opportunities.

Your thoughts control your decision making. In order to improve your decision making, you must reflect on your most dominant thoughts. Any great decision maker is also a great thinker.

By taking control of your dominant thoughts, you will create the mental framework to ensure improvement on your decision-making ability. You can’t let circumstances control your decision making. Great decision makers are not afraid of making errors. Errors are not defined as failure, they are steppingstones on your journey to achievement. Just make the decision, once you do, you'll find all the resources, people, and tools you need.

Create a mental image of exactly what you want to achieve and make the decision to hold onto that vision no matter what. Failure is only met when you make the decision to quit.
